We are looking for a strong senior product designer to join our PM & Engineers in taking the BACH product to the next level. This is a very critical (and exciting) visionary leader for us this year!
✨ The Company: BACH
✅ We’re the #1 Group Travel app in the iOS store
✅ Our app gives you the tools to coordinate travel with your friends and a marketplace to book incredible experiences
✅ The planning tools tie together the best of venmo, splitwise, doodle, and groupme all in one place
✅ The marketplace features thousands of fun experiences to book with one click — think yachts, party buses, atv tours, and brunch reservations!
✅ We have >200,000 parties planning a trip using BACH this year
✅ We’re venture backed and scaling quickly in 2023
✨ About Us
- We’re a battle tested team and our leadership has deep experience in marketplace & consumer technology
- Remote-first company with 20 full-time employees
- We’re passionate about product-led growth and providing true value to our customers & businesses to get there
- The bachelor(ette) market is just the first stop for us; if you’re passionate about the larger travel industry, this is going to be fun for you!
👰🏽 The Role: Lead Product Designer
What you’ll be doing:
- Defining the user experience, design and complete customer journey of the entire BACH suite of products for consumers planning their ultimate Bachelorette party. You'll start with making our BACH iOS & Android app product experience the best it can be and from there we take on the group travel industry.
- Talking to our users. All. the. time. Seeking inspiration, validation and continuous learning.
- Drawing, wire-framing, designing & testing using the tools we already love like Miro, Figma & UserResearch.com or bringing in your own to the crew.
- Working inseparably with the product development 3-legged stool: product, design and engineering. Yes, this is going to include tedious design QA some weeks, but it’s the details that make the difference and what we’ll be most proud of in the end.
- Learning an insane amount each week, deeply developing your craft as a product designer with millions of annual users and truly enjoying your time as you do it 💪🏽
What we look for in you:
- At least 5 years of product design experience. Both on the feature-level and proof of moving into more portfolio-level product thinking. If you don’t have the full five years of straight design experience, tell me why your other experience will make you an asset to the team instead.
